What Hey Minnal does with your Google account
Hey Minnal asks for Google access only for the features below, and only Sign in is required.

Hey Minnal's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google data is never sold, never used for ads and never used to train AI models. You can remove Hey Minnal's access at any time from your Google Account (Security → Third-party apps) or by disconnecting in the app. Full details are in our privacy policy.

Questions people ask
How does Hey Minnal get my WhatsApp and SMS messages?
From the notifications on your phone, after you allow notification access. Hey Minnal doesn't read your SMS inbox or call log directly, and it never logs in to your WhatsApp.
Can I reply to WhatsApp from Hey Minnal?
Yes, while the message's notification is still showing. After that, Hey Minnal opens WhatsApp with your reply already typed, so you only tap Send.
Will Minnal ever send something without asking me?
No. Before anything is sent, called, deleted or added to your calendar, Minnal shows a card and waits for your tap.
Does it work with Gmail?
Gmail messages appear in your inbox through the Gmail app's notifications, like WhatsApp and SMS. You can also connect Google Calendar, and Outlook for mail and calendar.
Which languages can I speak to Minnal?
English, Hindi and Hinglish work out of the box. You can also pick from about 55 other languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi and Urdu, using your phone's own speech engine.
Is there an iPhone version?
Not yet. Hey Minnal is for Android phones.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, go to Settings → Your data → Delete my account. If you no longer have the app, see how to delete your account.
